Yesterday I attended another fabulous Business After Five put on by the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce. As always it was both informative and a great opportunity to chat with other local businesses.
What made this event stand out even more for me was genuine passion in the voice of Mandy Pratley. Not just a passion for Te Awa Lifecare, her business, but for the wider aged care environment and the issues it faces. Her community.
Mandy did a great job “selling” what they do but the standard slick presentation can never really tell the full story about the people behind a business. Passion, emotion and a human authenticity makes people want to do business with you.
Maybe that’s why they have a successful business – because they care.
